TREK OVERVIEW
Welcome! We are so excited about our 2026 Stake Pioneer Trek. The purpose of the Ogden West Stake Trek is to bring young men and young women closer to their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Our pioneer trek will provide an opportunity for the youth of our stake to learn in a small measure from the experiences of the handcart pioneers. It will provide a powerful opportunity to strengthen testimonies, build unity, and help the youth experience that they can do hard things.
BASIC INFORMATION

When: June 10-13, 2026. Arrive at the Stake Center at 7:00 AM.
Who: All youth turning who are 13 or older by September 1, 2026 up to age 18. We hope that graduating seniors will attend.
Location: Deseret Land and Livestock Ranch (information)
Cost: There is no cost to those participating.
Travel: The Stake will be providing buses for traveling to and from the ranch. Estimated return to the Stake Center on June 13th at around 3:00 PM.
Food: Plenty of food will be provided at each meal. Snacks will be provided along on the trail. Access to water will be available 24/7.
Organization: The youth will be divided into two companies, with around 20 families each, of approximately 8 youth per family. Activities will be interspersed during the day, including fun events and spiritual opportunities. Evenings will consist of group and family activities, speakers, testimony meetings, and devotionals. We have over 85 adult support staff going on trek.
